Stagecoaches / Coaches for sale Norco CaliforniaStagecoaches were wagons that had wooden tops and wooden wheels. They had rows of wooden seats that people could sit on or the people could sit on top if they ran out of room inside. Horses would be hooked to the stagecoaches and they would pull it. The coaches were used to carry people from town to town because it was much faster than walking. Stagecoaches could go places that railroads couldn't go. They were used in the 1800's and were an important part of transportation.

| Offered for sale is a 1986 U.S. made auto top surrey.It is in excellent condition and has been garaged for 15 years. Only used in one parade, driven once in Norco, and was shown at the LA County Fair in 2009 in the turnout class. The body of the carriage is white with blue pin striping, the wheels are black with blue striping.The upholstery is tufted blue velveteen and in perfect condition. The white vinyl top goes up and down easily. It has 2 seats and holds 4 people comfortably. There are no rips or tears in any of the upholstery or the top. It has been pulled by a 14.2 hand gypsy, but can easily fit up to a 15.2 horse with ease. It has hydraulic brakes and a black patent dash with a brass rein rail. It's perfect for weddings, parades,or shows. |
